Candidate Introduction: Colin Allred

 





Allred a Democrat is running for election to the U.S Senate to represent Texas. 

Colin Allred was born and lives in Dallas, Texas. He graduated from Hillcrest High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law.

Before being elected to Congress, Allred played football in the National Football League (NFL) for the Tennessee Titans. After leaving the NFL, Allred earned a law degree and began practicing law. He then worked in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the Obama administration.

  April McClain-Delaney is a Democrat, running for election to the U.S. House of Representative, to represent Maryland's 6th Congressional District.  The 6th District includes: all of Garrett, Allegany, Frederick, and Washington counties as well as a portion of Montgomery County. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024.  2024. She have won the Democratic primary on May 14, 2024. McClain-Delaney grew up in Buhl, Idaho, where her father was a potato farmer. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and her law degree from Georgetown Law Center. McClain-Delaney worked in communications law, first with the satellite firm Orion Network Systems and later as the Washington director for Common Sense Media, a nonprofit focused on technology and children.
